Description | Garage Exhaust (GE) Hose is used for venting fumes in enclosed areas. A major benefit of this hose is its crush-resistant design, especially useful for lines in garages in danger of being run over. These hoses come in 11-foot lengths but a cuffed, or flared, end on each length permits easy connection to two or more lengths of the same size hose. This feature is called Flarelock Ends. The size of the vehicles being serviced will determine the ID of the applicable hose. Recommended use for compact cars is 2” to 2.5”; passenger cars use 3”; small trucks or vans use 3.5”; and fuel hauling trucks use 4”. A properly installed garage exhaust vent line will greatly reduce the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.
